Cask Ownership

Now is the time to secure your own Glen Prosen cask through our pre-order process. We’ll begin with a personal consultation and, where possible, a visit to Glen Prosen so we can understand exactly what you’re looking for.

Investors can purchase full casks, providing a significant yield of premium Glen Prosen Single Malt upon maturation. Casks are available for private ownership or syndicate ownership, with a limited annual allocation.

Our Distillery will be in production later this year and securing your cask early is advisable as we only have a limited number available.

Cask Finishing: An option to re-rack spirit into specialty casks, such as those previously holding port or wine, for an additional fee.

All casks are filled with Glen Prosen spirit and stored in government-bonded warehouses. Casks purchased are for personal use or gifting. Third party sale are not permitted without discussion.

The Timescale

Late 2025
Whisky production at Glen Prosen Bothy Distillery is set to begin in Late 2025. We are aiming our production levels to reach an annual output of approximately three hundred casks.
Early 2026
Following the meticulous malting, mashing, and distilling processes, the first oak casks, carefully selected from Jerez and Kentucky, will be filled and laid down for warehousing and maturation in Spring 2026.
2036
As our distinctive spirit matures into Scotch whisky, our master blender will carefully oversee the influence of these casks and pinpoint the exact time our Scotch is ready for bottling. We anticipate this to occur no earlier than 2036
