Set deep within the wild beauty of Glen Prosen and located on the grounds of Bothy Distillery, Keeper’s Bothy is
a secluded Highland retreat perfectly suited to a whisky staycation. Designed around life’s simplest luxuries - high hill walks, good malt and unhurried time.
It offers a contemporary take on the traditional Scottish bothy, combining comfort, calm and a true sense of escape.

Return from a Munro summit to warmth and stillness, unwind in the wood-fired hot tub with open views across the glen, or enjoy a dram beside the fire just steps from the distillery. Keeper’s Cottage invites guests to slow the pace and savour Angus at its most restorative- best enjoyed over days, not hours.

Sleeping up to six, the cottage features three beautifully appointed bedrooms, open-plan living, walk-in showers, a boot room for outdoor gear, private dog kennels and a welcoming wood-burning stove. Thoughtfully designed for walkers, whisky lovers and those seeking stillness, it balances active days with deeply relaxed evenings.

With direct access to Mayar and Dreish, the Kilbo Path and a network of historic glen routes, Keeper’s Cottage is perfectly placed for exploration -or simply for doing very little at all. Here, mindfulness comes naturally, shaped by landscape, light and the quiet rhythm of the hills.
