HISTORY IS OUR GUIDE
In the wild heart of the Angus Glens, Glen Prosen lies cradled between heather-clad hills, and clear tumbling burns, where the air is laced with pine, peat, and the quiet song of the land.
Our sustainable distillery draws its life from these waters, honouring the enduring spirit of this Scottish glen.
In the 17th and 18th centuries these glens were a smuggler’s stronghold. Hidden bothies sheltered their craft, while the Minister’s Path, the Cateran Trail and the Kilbo Pass became secret lifelines.
By moonlight and mist, they slipped past the Dragoon Guards - casks of usquabae hidden beneath grain and peat - vanishing into the folds of the hills long before the gaugers knew they’d even been there.
