Seasonal Distillery Experience Host

At The Bothy Distillery, we create more than whisky, we create experiences.

Set in the heart of the Angus Glens, our distillery offers guided tours, curated tastings and unique bothy stays inspired by the landscape and history around us.

We’re looking for a warm, capable and hands-on Seasonal Distillery Experience Host to join us from April to October during our busy visitor season. Approx 3 or 4 days per week.

This is a varied, hands-on role that includes:

•    Hosting and welcoming guests
•    Delivering distillery tours
•    Leading whisky & gin tastings
•    Supporting retail sales
•    Preparing and presenting our bothy accommodation

You’ll need great people skills to confidently lead and share our story with visiting groups. Full training will be given, but good presentation and an assured manner are essential.

We’re looking for someone who is confident, personable and practical. Someone who enjoys meeting people but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves. You’ll be part of a small team, so being a positive, supportive team player is essential.

You must also be confident working independently, using your initiative to keep standards high and tasks moving without close supervision.

Applicants must:

•    Be over 18 years of age
•    Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own transport (essential due to our rural location)
•    Be available to work weekends
